RUFC - Alf to Oakwell? But maybe not this season

Rotherham United striker, Adam Le Fondre is being watched - by Barnsley Manager Keith Hill.

Hill, who took charge of Barnsley earlier this month, told the Tykes Official Site, 'Adam Le Fondre is a goal scorer and every club wants one in their team. I know his attributes, I know him as a player and a person. Will he come to Barnsley? I would say it is a possibility, but not a probability.

'Adam is out of contract next summer, but at this time I am not expecting to do any business with Rotherham.'

We all know that Alfie has expressed a desire to play higher up in the Football League and it will be more than likely that we will lose him when his contract is up next year. He's played under Keith Hill before at Rochdale so it stands to reason that the twenty-four year old could well follow his ex-manager - although the way Manager's are sacked these days who is to say Hill will still be at Oakwell next season?

Will he go before his contract is up? Well, in my opinion it's a distinct possibility. But, when that will be and who too we will just have to wait and see.
