'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott on Jaybo, Bradley and Pope

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott is delighted that midfielder, Jason Taylor has put pen to paper and signed for another year with the Millers.

Speaking to MillersPlayer Scott said, 'There was a few things going on with Jason in the close season in his private life that's been difficult for him and we understand that it's been a difficult time for him.

'But he's signed the contract now and I'm delighted that he's committed to us because he's another good player that we can add to the squad. '

In the meanwhile, Scott put both striker Tom Pope and Welsh International midfielder Mark Bradley on the transfer list at the end of last season, but, so far, says there has been no interest in either.

Scott said, 'I spoke to Mark and his agent at the end of the season and we've had nothing back from them. I think it's clear from the players who I've brought in that he's going to be a long way down the pecking order and he understands that. We'll have to see where the land lies with him and if there is any interest in him then maybe he will move on sooner rather than later.'
