RUFC - Law off over the border?

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott has been resigned to losing midfielder/winger Nicky Law since the end of last season when he refused to sign another contract with the club.

After the club had accepted a bid from a fellow League Two team (which could well have been Crawley) it now seems that the twenty-three year old could be moving to Scotland.

Speaking to MillersPlayer today, Scott said, 'We had some interest and a couple of offers but I think he has spoken to a team in Scotland. That means we won't receive any fee for him which is a bit of a blow

'I think we always knew he was going to leave but I am a little bit surprised about the move he is making but it's his decision and we can't affect that.'

Nicky joined the Millers from Sheffield United during the summer of 2009 and there have been rumours over the last year that Championship sides have had an interest in him. Nicky has topped the 'assists' for goals in the last two seasons in League Two.
