'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Taylor thanks club and fans

Rotherham United striker, Ryan Taylor joined Bristol City this week saying it was 'a move I had to make.`

Ryan had been with the club from his Youth days but said that the Robins made him an offer he couldn`t refuse after turning down a new contract with the Millers. 'It will be hard to leave but it`s a massive opportunity for me,` the twenty-three year old told Paul Rickett of The Advertiser. 'It will be a new challenge for me but I will be leaving behind a lot of fond memories.

'It will be difficult, but as a footballer you have to be ready to move to wherever you`re playing but I will always remember the managers and the coaches who I`ve had at Rotherham who have helped me.

'My high spot with Rotherham has to be scoring the two goals at Wembley. It was a great day and it was a shame that we lost, though, personally, it was a big achievement for me.

'I`d like to thank the club and the fans for sticking by me. They`ve been great and I wish them every success in the future.`
