RUFC - Defender sings praises of new striker

Rotherham United`s Luke Foster says that fellow new boy, Chris Holroyd will shine with the Millers.

Speaking to Dom Howson of The Star, the defender said, 'I probably know more about Chris than the Rotherham fans or players from our time at Stevenage together where he was outstanding.

'He is not the tallest lad but he is good at holding the ball up and bringing others into play and I have seen him cause good defences problems at this level.

'He is not too dissimilar to Adam Le Fondre in his movement and he is dangerous in and around the box. He might not be too involved in the game but if you get a chance you`d want him on the end of it. I think he has the ability to get well into double figures this season.`

Another Alfie eh? Let`s hope there`s someone who can get the ball to him.
