RUFC - Brown on his way to Millers?

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott`s next signing could well be centre-back, Troy Brown.

Speaking to MillersPlayer the subject of centre-back cover was raised and Brown`s name was mentioned, with Scott saying, 'Troy can play right back as well and with Dale Tonge being there it gives us options.`

Troy was released by Ipswich Town at the end of last season and it has been known that Scott has been looking at the twenty year old.

Scott did go onto say, 'In that centre-back position I think we`ve got enough cover and I`m not actively looking at that position at the moment.

'Probably the only position we are struggling with for cover is the left-back position, in fact, all way down that left-hand side. But, that`s something we are working on.`
