RUFC - Schofield Joins Millers

Rotherham United have signed Danny Schofield from Millwall today, dependant on a medical.

Doncaster born Danny is listed as a Midfielder, though he likes to get forward and was released by Championship side Millwall at the end of last season, after two years.

The thirty-one year old began his league career with Huddersfield Town in 1997 where he stayed until 2008 when he asked for a move away. A few teams were interested in Schofield, including Rotherham, but he signed for Yeovil Town where he made forty-three appearances and scored a handful of goals.

In September 2009 Danny moved to Millwall for an undisclosed fee where he played nearly seventy games and scored nine goals.

Subject to the medical, Danny has signed a three year deal with the Millers
