RUFC - Woggy will fight for his place

Rotherham United goalkeeper, Andy Warrington says he will fight to be number one again.

With Jamie Annerson coming in and doing well when the thirty-five year old Warrington was injured and now that Manager, Andy Scott, has fetched in Conrad Logan from Leicester City, it seems that Woggy will be pushed down the pecking order.

But, after playing forty-five minutes on Tuesday night, when Andy Scott said he was 'excellent` the former Doncaster shot stopped knows he has something to fight for.

Speaking to Richard Wilson of The Advertiser, Warrington said, 'I`ve felt sharp in training since we started back and it was nice to get the gloves back on and get forty-five minutes under my belt. I`m not the kind of person to give up on the job and I`ll give my best to try and get back into the manager`s plans.

'People know how I feel about this club and I`d like to stay so I`ll just keep on doing what I have been. I`m not one who sits and sulks but you always want to be playing regularly and I want to help the club to gain promotion and play at the new stadium next season.`
