'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Pringle knows what to expect

Rotherham United Midfielder, Ben Pringle says that it will be a massive underachievement if the Millers don`t go up this season.

Speaking to The Star, the Newcastle born twenty-two year old said, 'With the way the club is run and the players we`ve got our main aim is to win the league and it would be a massive underachievement if we don`t do that.`

Pringle, who joined the Millers in the summer from Derby County, says he knows what it`s like playing at League Two level as he had a few games on loan with Torquay last season. 'I know what to expect,` he said, 'I played a few games for Torquay and we won most of them, though most of them seemed more like fighting matches than football games.

'The gaffer wants us to play football but there are times when we are going to have to get physical and times when we will have to battle our way out of the league. You have to be able to mix it up at this level and if we can do that then we should be alright.`
