'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott lifted when he sees stadium progress

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott says he is looking forward to getting the team back to play in Rotherham in a new stadium.

It was announced on Friday that the new stadium will be ready to move into on 11th July next year and Scott, speaking to Sportinglife.com. , Scott said it gives him a real lift when he sees the building work going on.

'It's coming on really well and it will be nice to get back to Rotherham and play in our own stadium in our own town and in a brand new facility that people can look on with envy.

'I'm very enthusiastic about the whole project and the whole club and what we're doing with it and I think that rubs off on people.

'My aim is to get us there in League One and we're doing everything we can to make sure that we start off in the right frame of mind for that.'
