'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Warne expecting rising standards

Rotherham United player/coach, Paul Warne believes that Millers fans will see standards rise under Manager, Andy Scott.

Scott has already brought in eight new players for the start of the new season and has today confirmed his seven new backroom staff.

Speaking to Givemefootball.com, Warne, who is in his second spell with the Millers, said, 'Before as a club we were a little bit disjointed, at least now were based at the training ground it feels a little bit more like a football club.

'There is a different generation of manager coming through. Scotty is hands on and has a finger in every pie so he sees everything and younger managers are more hands on that the old school of manager. And, in that respect, it is a bit more energised so standards won't drop as much.'
