RUFC - Pizza and Jelly Baby diet!

Vital Rotherham on: facebook

Rotherham United players are living on the pizza and jelly baby diet.

Not a lot wrong with that is there?!

Apparently, after the pre-season friendlies the players have been seen eating slices of pizza and Manager, Andy Scott told Les Payne of The Star, that it`s important that they eat something straight after a game.

'They have energy shakes, electrolyte drinks, to replace all the fluids and salts they lose,` Scott said, 'but it`s important that, within ninety minutes of a game, that they get something inside them rather than the body start eating away at their fatty reserves. And, it doesn`t matter what they eat as long as it`s something.

'At half-time they will have such things as jelly babies which give a quick energy burst as they prepare for the second half.`

After what I`ve seen, and been told, there doesn`t seem that much 'fatty reserve` on the new lean Millers players to 'eat away at.`

But, what we all really want to know is 'do they eat the heads or the legs first`?!
