RUFC - Annerson out for 'some time'

Rotherham United 'keeper, Jamie Annerson has suffered a major set-back at the beginning of the season that could mean he is out for quite a while.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, earlier today, Manager, Andy Scott said, 'Jamie Annerson has had a swollen knee and he`s out for a considerable time. He`s had an infection in the knee and has actually been in hospital. It`s very unfortunate but the infection has attacked his knee and he`s had to have it washed out.`

This will be a major blow to the twenty-two year old, who was hoping to start the season as 'number one.'

The Millers have two other 'keepers availabe in Conrad Logan who is on loan from Leicester City and Andy Warrington who has been with the Millers for four years and who played against Parkgate on Monday evening in a pre-season friendly.
