RUFC - Grabban delighted with goal

Rotherham United`s first goal scorer of the season, Lewis Grabban was delighted to have won the game for his new team yesterday.

Speaking after the win over Oxford, the twenty-three year old told the Official Site, 'It`s always nice to score, but especially on your debut.`

Lewis joined the Millers in the summer from Brentford and partnered Adam Le Fondre and Chris Holroyd up front yesterday and thinks they did well together, saying, 'It`s going to be good working with Alfie and Chris.

'The squad of gelled well together and all the new lads have settled in nicely.

'I`ve worked with Andy Scott before and I knew what I was getting into which made my decision to come here very easy.`

Asked if he set himself targets, he replied, 'No, but I want to score as many goals as I can and help make the team successful and we are delighted that we got off to such a good start with three points and a clean sheet.`
