RUFC - Brown 'we have to stay focused'

Rotherham United defender, Troy Brown said that everyone was buzzing after the win, and clean sheet, on Saturday over Oxford United.

The twenty year old, who joined the Millers this summer from Ipswich Town, told the Official Site, 'It`s great to get a good start to the season, especially against tough opposition.

'It`s good for my confidence, the 'keeper and the backline to get a clean sheet but we know we have to stay focused. There are forty-five games to go and we know we have to do it. We have to keep winning and getting clean sheets and see where it takes us.`

Troy won`t be playing on Tuesday in the Cup game against Leicester because he is off to join the Wales U21 side but talking about his team mates said, 'You can see there is quality in the squad with the likes of Danny Schofield and Lewis Grabban. All the new editions have been good for the squad and it was a tough pre-season but it`s paid off.`

I thought Troy had a solid game on Saturday - back-tracked when needed, stood his ground when needed and got in a couple of good tackles. Him and Cress look good together.
