RUFC - Danny hoping for an upset

RUFC - Danny hoping for an upset

Rotherham United midfielder, Danny Schofield says that the Millers have nothing to lose going into this evening`s Carling Cup game against Championship side Leicester City.

Speaking to the Official Site the thirty-one year old said, 'I think we can go into the game and enjoy it.

'Leicester are one of the best teams in the Championship and have spent a lot of money so it`s going to be a test but, like we will in all the games, we will be giving one hundred and ten per cent and, hopefully, cause an upset.`

Talking about the league and the first win of the season, Danny said, 'We have no reason to fear anyone in this league and, we believe, we have a squad good enough to challenge at the right end of the table. That win on the opening day of the season in front of our own fans will give us plenty of confidence.

'The gaffer has brought in some real quality and experienced players and we all get on well together and I can`t see any reason why we can`t get promotion. We got three points on the board on Saturday and that`s all that matters.`

Danny signed a three year contract with the Millers in the summer, signing from Millwall.

I've always thought league form goes out of the window in cup competitions - and, as Danny says, go out and enjoy it
