'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Schofield wants another promotion

Rotherham United midfielder, Danny Schofield says that the pre-season preparation has been up to Premier League standard.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser the thirty-one year old former Huddersfield Town player, said, 'The gaffer is massive on fitness and nutrition and it`s shown in pre-season and, after games we always have the protein shakes, the sweets and the pizzas to carb-up. And everything is planned so you get the right recovery and the right amount of training through the season.

Danny joined the Millers this summer from Millwall and was handed a three-year contract and, although he played down the middle on Tuesday against Leicester City, he can also operate on both flanks. He admits that he`s not that familiar with League Two football, having most played in League One, but watches a lot of football to familiarise himself with it and is getting used to playing in it..

'I`ve still got tons and tons to offer and I keep myself fit. It`s a tough league and it won`t be easy to get out of it but there`s a lot of belief here and we think we can do it and I`m looking to get another promotion under my belt.`
