Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott has nothing but praise for striker, Adam Le Fondre so far this season.

With all the rumours about him going here, there and everywhere, Scott has always insisted that the twenty-four year old was always in his plans.

Speaking after the Leicester game on Tuesday, Scott said, 'His work rate against Oxford and Leicester was excellent. He was unfortunate not to get a goal on Tuesday because he had a couple of chances in the first half and, in the second half, he looked a threat and caused their centre-halves problems.

'Against Oxford, with five minutes to go, he chased back from the edge of his box to catch a winger and I don`t think anyone has seen that. But, since he`s been back we`ve seen it every day in training. He contributed massively to the clean sheet and created a couple of chances.`

Talking about what`s different with him this season, Scott carried on, 'There`s a different mentality to the players. Before he was given license not to work hard because he`s a goal scorer but for me, you`re part of the team and he now realises that there`s a lot more to his game than just goals. But he will have lots of chances and the goals will come.

'He knows if we all press together then we can win the all back together and be in a position to give it to him high up the pitch in areas he can be affective.`
