RUFC - Scott 'Jaybo is a leader'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott said everyone was fantastic on Saturday and to win four-one away from home he said you can`t have anyone dropping below seven out of ten and he thought his side were excellent.

Speaking to MillersPlayer he did have praise for one player in particular, Jason Taylor and said, 'Jason breaks things up. He`s a leader and he organisers and a lot of work that he does goes unnoticed by a lot of people, but certainly not by his team mates and staff.

'Last year he wasn`t attacking because he wasn`t winning the ball high enough up the pitch but this year we are fitter and stronger and are able to chase and win the ball higher up the pitch. He had a shot that was flying in the bottom corner that was blocked and he had five or six other shots, though he hasn`t hit the target yet!

'He knows he`s in the side to be a bit of a destroyer and organise and be a solid platform for us to go and build on. We know what he can do and everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and we try and make sure that everyone in the side is playing to their strengths.`

Jaybo has been getting a bit of stick (though maybe that's a bit harsh) from some Millers supporters this season (yes, already!) but I thought he had a good game on Saturday
