RUFC - Scott 'everyone did their job'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott mulled over the game last night and said that there wasn`t really a star player.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield after the two-one win, he said, 'No one shone tonight but everyone did their job. Connor (Logan) made some fantastic saves tonight and Tonge at the end at the back post was fantastic, he knew he was going to get clobbered and the two centre-halves were good against a good player in Miller, and both full-backs and the central-midfield played ever so hard. And, the players who came on did their part as well with Marshall coming on and giving us a little bit extra down the right hand side when people were starting to struggle a little bit and Pringle getting his goal.

'We know we`ve got a squad who are desperate to do well and they are all good lads who work extremely hard in training and who all want to play. But I can only play eleven and, hopefully they will realise that, as the season progresses, everyone will get their chance.

'Troy (Brown) is probably the most unfortunate because he went away on International duty and Raynes came in - but that`s life. It`s difficult for young players to accept that but he`s fully behind everything we do and his time will come.

'We`re looking alright and we are going back to Saturday-Saturday now so not playing mid-week will be a good break for everybody.`
