'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Crewe

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott said he was proud of every one of his team after the two-one win over Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday night at Gresty Road.

Alex Manager, Dario Gradi refused to be critical of his team after the loss telling Radio Stoke, 'We made two mistakes which was the only difference.

'One of the mistakes was when Westwood went to sleep and rolled the ball to them. And when things like that happen you know you are going to pay for it and, of course, ten seconds later it was in the back of our net.

'But I can`t go in and criticise them because they are down enough because however much anyone else feels it they feel it the worst. I don`t think the boys are going to play much better football than that, we`ve just got to eradicate those mistakes.

'Le Fondre only did two things really - scored a goal and brought a great save out of our 'keeper. I think if he`d been playing for us we`d have won.

'We could just do with a bit of luck like one of those deflections going our way or the referee giving a penalty or somebody scoring an own goal or something, just to get us on our way.`

What do you think? Were you at the game? We'd love to hear your thoughts on it if you were - or just your thoughts on Rotherham United.
