Rotherham United have three players out with long-term injuries, Paul Warne, Johnny Mullins and Jamie Annerson and Manager Andy Scott told MillersPlayer how things are going with them.

'Johnny is doing extremely well but we don't want to push him too far,' Scott said. ''We've already brought his provisional date to start playing a month forward and we can't bring it forward any more than that because it is a serious injury. He's a fantastic professional and his attitude and his application have been first class. He's a credit to himself and the club and the sooner he's back the better because he's a very, very good player.

'Warney had a set-back in pre-season and we've gone back to the start with him and he's just starting to run again and building up his strength in his leg. We are hoping that in the next two or three weeks we can bring him back.

'Jamie Annerson was a big blow to us really because we had three good goalkeepers and his was a real freak injury, well not even injury it's an infection in his knee. He's had to have his knee washed out and he's going to be out for a fair few weeks or more which is a big blow to him and to us.'
