RUFC - Chairman wants to keep Alfie

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart insists there is more to come from striker, Adam Le Fondre in a Millers shirt.

With the transfer deadline date drawing nearer the rumours of Alfie going to a 'bigger club` have surfaced again but speaking to Radio Sheffield yesterday evening, Mr Stewart said, 'This guy is on fire, and while he's on fire we're not talking about selling him, we're talking about keeping him with Rotherham and making sure we have a successful season.`

The Chairman knows there was talk from fans, managers and chairman about Alfie but also said that the twenty-four year old is happy where he is saying, 'He`s demonstrating that on the pitch - and there is more to come.`
