'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Rumours, Rumours, Rumours

Rotherham United striker, Adam Le Fondre is the subject of yet more transfer rumours as the transfer window deadline gets closer.

The latest that Vital Rotherham have heard is that a local side has put in yet another bid for Alfie, who has scored four times already this season to add to the fifty-four he's already scored since joining the Millers, but it, once again, was no where near what the Millers were asking.

We also understand that a Championship club, who are languishing near the foot of the table, have had two more bids rejected.

And, Tony Mowbray has made no secret of the fact that he is on the look out for a striker at the Riverside with Scott McDonald having injury problems with Mowbray saying, 'The urgency of the situation now will intensify the search.'

But, Millers Chairman, Tony Stewart has already insisted that he is in no hurry to sell Alfie and Manager, Andy Scott says that he wants the twenty-four year old in his team. Although, I'm sure if a 'big' club came in for him, neither would stand in the strikers way.

Well, I don't know about anyone else but I'll be glad when the transfer market is closed and we know where we stand because none of this can be helping the lad who seems quite happy to be with the Millers.
