RUFC - Revell signs in

Rotherham United have today signed striker Alex Revell from Leyton Orient.

Twenty-eight year old Alex began his career with Cambridge United moving to Braintree Town before Brighton and Hove Albion signed him for around £8,000 in the summer of 2006. In January 2008, he then moved on to Southend United where an unfortunate accident in a game, left him with a broken leg and meant he was out for the rest of the season. Alex then had loan spells with Swindon Town and Wycombe Wanderers before moving to Leyton Orient last summer.

Alex has played six times this season for the O's but hasn't managed to find the back of the net. He did, however, score the only goal of the game for Brighton against the Millers at Millmoor back in August 2005!

Alex has penned a two year deal.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome Alex to the Millers.
