RUFC - Revell 'great move for me'

Rotherham United`s latest signing, Alex Revell says that personally, the move to the Millers, is a great one for him.

Speaking at the training ground earlier today, the twenty-eight year old said, '. It was a hard decision to leave Leyton Orient and my wife is pregnant and expecting in a months time so it`s a big move, but I can`t wait to get going.`

Asked when he first heard about the Millers` interest in him, Alex said, 'I heard about it on the Monday and I spoke to the manager at Leyton Orient and it was decided that it would be good for me to make the move. Rotherham United are a club massively moving in the right direction who are top of League Two and there`s no better time to join a club and I want to come in and help the lads and help the gaffer to get to where we need to get to.

'I want to show people what I can do and I want to be able to get hold of the ball and bring other people into play and, as long as I can work hard, and get us promoted then I`ll be happy. I want to be part of getting promotion and getting into League One and going into the new ground and then hopefully kick on again next year.`

Talking about Saturday and the game against his former club, Swindon Town, live on Sky, Alex said, 'It`s been good when I`ve played against them before so hopefully I can carry that on. The lads had a great win on Saturday so I might have to wait for my chance but, when I get it, I want to take it and make sure I show people what I`m about.`
