RUFC - Scott 'Revell outstanding'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott thought new boy Alex Revell was outstanding yesterday.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield after the striker scored both goals in the Millers three-two loss over Swindon Town, Scott said, 'I think he`s shown how good he is and I thought he was outstanding today.

'His work-rate, his goals, the way he held the ball up, the way he chased it behind, he was fantastic. We just didn`t give him enough support in the first half where we were detached from the front two. We did better in the second half but we didn`t get enough crosses in the box and didn`t use the ball well enough which is why he didn`t get any more chances.`

Signing in on transfer deadline day from Leyton Orient, the twenty-eight year old looked like he`d played with the team all season and did well with both his goals. I think he will fast become a Millers fans favourite.
