Vital Rotherham Player of the Month - August

Rotherham United played six games in August - five in League Two and one in the Carling Cup - and Vital Rotherham have got six different men of the month! Which, I suppose proves that we are working as a team!

Lewis Grabban got most votes for the first game of the season against Oxford at Don Valley with Gareth Evans being voted the Man of the Match in our first away game against Plymouth Argyle.

Danny Schofield and Troy Brown got the votes for the games against Crewe Alexandra and Barnet respectively while Marcus Marshall was a clear winner for the last game of the month against Gillingham.

The Millers only Cup exploit this month was against Leicester City in the first round of the Carling Cup where we voted departed striker, Adam Le Fondre as man of the match.

Thank you to everyone who has voted - we have a Man of the Match poll stickied on Millers Mumblings after every game so please keep adding your vote!

You can even vote if you aren`t registered with Vital. But, we would be glad to have your thoughts on the board - come and tell us what you think of the squad that Andy Scott is building up - tell us your thoughts after every game - share your memories of the Millers with us - we really would love to hear from you all.

Of the six who have won the voting I'd say Gareth Evans has impressed me the most
