'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Oppositon - The Daggers

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott was far from happy with his side on Saturday against Dagenham and Redbridge, despite winning three-one. He bemoaned the fact that there would have been more goals if his players had actually done what he`d asked them to do.

Meanwhile, Daggers` Assistant Manager, Wayne Burnett thought his side, though below par, could have snatched a draw.

Speaking after the game, Burnett said, 'We gave Rotherham too many chances and we didn`t defend well.

'Maybe the goalkeeper should have done better for the first goal and, for the third, we had a forward coming back to defend and he really should have got rid of it, but he played himself into trouble and we gave away a goal. We did hit the bar and their 'keeper did make a couple of good saves but we didn`t create enough ourselves.

'I`m not making excuses but we have got a lot of players out injured at the moment. When they are back, hopefully, it will be a different story.`

What do you think - we the daggers unlucky? The stats do show that they did actually have more possession that the Millers throughout the game.
