'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott on the front pairing

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott said that a forward partnership takes time to gel although good players can always play together.

Speaking about the new partnership between Alex Revell and Lewis Grabban, Scott said, 'I think they are starting to understand each others game and know what each other will do. But, it was difficult in the second half when we weren`t helping Alex out.

'I thought he was outstanding on Saturday and was a real threat. But we`ve got to get around him, got to help him, got to give him what he needs which is crosses into the box.`

Revell and Grabban have played as a team for the last two game, Alex scoring two goals at Swindon and Lewis getting two (although I`m still not sure the first one wasn`t an own goal!) on Saturday at Don Valley.

What do you think of this partnership? Will it work?
