RUFC - Scott happy to have options up front

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott told MillersPlayer that he's got some good options going forward at the moment.

Speaking about Lewis Grabban, who scored his fifth and sixth goals for the club against Torquay, Scott said, 'I know Lewis very well and I know, given the chance, he can score goals. I took him to Brentford but things didn't go well for him and when I left there he wasn't given a chance, but he's shown, at this level, that he can score goals.

'Chris Holroyd scored four goals for the reserves on Monday so he's banging on the door and raring to go as well. He's scored six for the reserves now.

'I've spoken to Chris several times and I think Alex (Revell) coming in will help his game but he's got to help himself as well. We've spoken about areas that he's got to improve on and he's got to play to his strengths, which are going to be our strengths, which I don't really think he was doing before. Now, he seems to have coerced that idea and it's resulted in goals so hopefully the penny has dropped and he realises that that's the best information I can give him and I'll continue to help him with that and he'll force his way in.'

Talking about Alex Revell, who joined the Millers at the end of last month, Scott said, 'I think there's more to Alex than his height. He's good with the ball at his feet and he moves the ball well and understands the game. He certainly adds a lot to everyone else and contributes to everyone else.'
