ZIPADEEDOODAH gave us this one ... For me it has to be 1995-96 League Cup first round tie with Scunny. We lost the first leg 4-1 at Glanford Park (goal from Andy Hayward) and then walloped the Iron 5-0 in the return match at Millmoor,(Goater 2, Hayward, McGlashan and Jeffrey) to set up a 2nd round glamour tie with Premier League Middlesborough. Only 2,206 witnessed the Millmoor game, many probably assuming the tie was dead and buried.
