Vital Rotherham Player of the Month - September

Vital Rotherham Player of the Month - September

Rotherham United were involved in five league games throughout September, and after having a storming month throughout August, came back to earth with a bit of a bump by only winning one game.

The Millers lost their first away game of the season at Swindon Town but won the next game, at Don Valley, against Dagenham and Redbridge. The next two games, both away, were drawn and the month ended with a humiliating defeat against Southend at Don Valley.

One player seems to have stuck out during September and was voted Vital Rotherham's Player of the Month - and that's Gareth Evans. Gareth, who's home kit is sponsored by Vital Rotherham this season, won the Man of the Match for the games against Dagenham and Redbridge and Accrington Stanley. Gareth joined the Millers from Bradford City in the summer and has made twelve appearances so far this season scoring four goals.

Also voted as Man of the Match during September were

Alex Revell v Swindon Town
Lewis Grabban v Torquay
Johnny Mullins v Southend

Going into October the Player of the Season Table looks like this
1 GARETH EVANS
2 LEWIS GRABBAN
3 MARCUS MARSHALL
4 DANNY SCHOFIELD
4 ADAM LE FONDRE
6 TROY BROWN
6 ALEX REVELL
8 CONRAD LOGAN
8 DALE TONGE
8 DANNY HARRISON
8 JOHNNY MULLINS
12 MICHAEL RAYNES
13 RYAN CRESSWELL
13 CHRIS HOLROYD
13 BEN PRINGLE

Thanks to everyone who has voted so far and WELL DONE to Gareth Evans!
