'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Sheffield United

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott had nothing but praise for his side last night after narrowly losing to Sheffield United in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy second round.

After the late two-one loss, Scott said his team were 'fantastic`.

His opposite number, Danny Wilson said he saw two teams who were hell bent on getting through to the next round.

The Blades won the game with a goal from Ched Evans in time added on and speaking to BladesPlayer, Wilson said, 'Full credit to Rotherham who made it a really exciting derby game.

'At times they were very physical with us and worked very hard and it was never easy. They really got at us and put us under pressure in the early part of the game but our first goal knocked the stuffing out of them for a while. But, I thought we responded and battled well and that the last goal was taken very well.`

What were your thoughts on the game last night? Who was the better team? Who looked up for it more?
