'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Burton Albion

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott had some sharp words for his defenders after the one-nil loss to Burton Albion at Don Valley on Saturday. He more or less said that he was 'fed up' of them not doing what was asked of them and that heads would roll.

Burton Albion Manager, Paul Peschisolido was delighted that his defence had managed to hold on to the eighth minute lead and withstand periods of pressure from the Millers.

'We defended absolutely valiantly,' Pesc said, 'and it was unbelievable the way they threw their bodies on the line. Ryan Austin was like a Premiership defender. If we defend as well as they did in this game we will progress and progress, because they were absolutely brilliant.

'Yes, I would like to have played better football and yes I would have liked to have kept the ball better and passed it better but ultimately what counts is the three points and we got them.'

What do you think? Were the Brewers defenders brilliant or should the Millers strikers have done better?
