RUFC - Cress seeing specialist today

RUFC - Cress seeing specialist today

Rotherham United should know today how long Ryan Cresswell is going to be out for.

Cress, who joined the Millers from Bury in the summer of 2010, is suffering with an ankle injury which occurred during training. An initial scan has revealed that some fibres have come off the bone and it`s probable that the twenty-three year old will need surgery on it which could leave him sidelined for up to three months.

If the operation can be done by keyhole surgery Ryan could be looking at just a six week lay-off.

Ryan suffered a few niggling injuries last season and managed to play only twenty-six games. So far this season he has been involved in nine games and scored two goals.
