RUFC - Scott wants ninety minutes performances

Join The Vital Debate
Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott has told his players they aren`t kidding anyone.

Speaking (or rather fuming) after the loss at home to Burton Albion on Saturday, Scott is fed up with his team only playing for forty-five minutes. 'They have shown that when they do what I ask them to they can do it right,` Scott said, 'but then it`s easy to do it for forty-five minutes.

'I am sick of people saying 'we did well second half. I'm not interested. You have to do it from the start. Make sure you do your job and the person next to you does theirs.

'Don't kid me, don't kid the fans, don't kid the chairman and don't kid the rest of the club because we know.`

To be fair, they did everything but score in the second half - hit the bar, hit the post, put the ball just wide. But Scott`s right. What if us, the fans, said we were only paying half price? Or that they were only getting half their appearance money. Wouldn`t like that would they?
