'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott 'difficult to get players in'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott says that they are working very hard at trying to strengthen the squad.

Speaking to MillersPlayer Scott said, 'We are trying very, very hard at trying to bring defensive players in but it's proving difficult at the moment so we are working with the players we have got here. They showed, earlier in the season, that they are capable of doing it and so there's no reason to believe that they can't do it again. We'll continue to work as hard as we have been doing in the hope that we get it right.'

Troy Brown, who has been away on international duty with Wales, will be back in contention for Friday evenings game at Bristol Rovers with Scott saying, 'I spoke to him last night so he'll be in today for a warm-down and to make sure he's OK and available for Friday.'

Speaking about Luke Foster, who played ninety minutes for the reserves on Monday, Scott said, 'He's an option. He's played central defence but he doesn't particularly like playing there and prefers to play in midfield.'
