RUFC - Mullins 'we've got to kick on'

Rotherham United`s Johnny Mullins thinks the Millers are just one win away from kick-starting their season again.

Speaking to The Advertiser the twenty-five year old said, 'Football isn`t always about good times. There`s bad times too. It`s important not to get too high when you`re winning and when you`re losing not to think you`re the worst team in the world. It`s a difficult time for the team at the minute but I`m confident we will come out the other side.

'We`ve got some players here with a lot of talent and, as down as we are, we have to realise that we are a good side and we showed that against Sheffield United. It maybe a bit disappointing that we managed to get ourselves up for that but in the first half on Saturday we weren`t to be seen and we`re disappointed about that. But, we`ve got to use that to go again and kick-on. It`s roll your sleeves up time and these next three matches are three big tests of character which is probably what we need right now.`

Johnny has just come back from a cruciate knee ligament injury and said, 'As soon as I declared myself fit I was ready to play, irrespective of how long I`d been out. I`ve got to go out and perform because I want to keep my shirt.

'Yes, I`m a bit tired but I`d be tired if I hadn`t been out for a while. I`ve got to keep working on my game and hopefully I can improve with the team.`

I don't think there's much danger of you losing your shirt, Johnny
