'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Bristol Rovers

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott was very frustrated after the loss to Bristol Rovers on Friday night at the Memorial Stadium.

After the game he said that there was no excuse for the performance from his side and wasn't impressed by the way they defended, again.

Rovers Manager, Paul Buckle, on the other hand, was 'proud' of his team.

Speaking the Rovers' Official Site, Buckle said, 'I am really proud of my players, they showed great character. The last couple of games have gone against us but we've stayed consistent and it's paid off tonight.

'Our fans are crying out for success and we know that. I am happy for the players, it is nice to be in a dressing room with lots of smiles, but at the same time it doesn't change an awful lot. It is the same group of players, the same manager and the same supporters.

'We are disappointed with the two goals as it put us under a bit of pressure, but at the same time it showed great character to push on and get the three points.

'Tonight you saw us at our best this season with the ball.'
