'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Chairman 'It's all going to plan'

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart says that the new ground is 'on schedule` for the Millers to move in at the start of next season.

Miller`s fans gave a cheer this week as we all saw the first section of steelwork go up on the old Guest and Chrimes site and, speaking to The Star, Mr Stewart said, 'It`s all going to plan. I go past the site every day when I travel to work and I can see the progress that is being made.

'We have overcome hurdles that were there and things are going well. I go on site once a week and everything is on course for the 11th of July.`

With the catering, brewery, seating and turnstiles to still be sorted, Mr Stewart said, 'There is a long way to go but we are all very excited.`
