RUFC - Scott 'Harley excellent'

RUFC - Scott 'Harley excellent'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott thought new recruit, Jon Harley was excellent on Friday night.

Harley joined the Millers on Friday from Notts County on a month`s loan and went straight into the starting eleven for the game against Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Ground.

Speaking to MillersPlayer Scott said, 'He's a great lad. He plays with a smile on his face and he's been a breath of fresh air this week.

'For someone who has played at the level he has and the clubs he has he's very humble. He's happy to join in and muck in with the rest of the lads and do everything that they do. He enjoys training and you can see that. He enjoys playing too and has been excellent for us.

'He's played at left-back for some years now and we said we wanted some cover for Tom Newey and someone to challenge Tom in that position. Bringing Jon in has done that.'
