'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott says it's exciting times

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott says that there are exciting times on the way.

This week, the Millers have bought a plot of land where they will build their new training academy and the steel for the new ground has started to go up too at the old Guest and Chrimes site.

'It's exciting times,' Scott said. 'It gives everyone a a sense of ambition and show we want to be involved in that.

'We are seeing steel go up at the stadium and that is moving very quickly, so it's really exciting.

'I think the chairman has been terrific in backing up everything he said. He was adamant he wanted a new stadium, he was adamant he wanted a new training ground and he was adamant he wanted promotion. He has provided everything he can and is one hundred per cent behind what we're doing.'
