'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Shrewsbury Town

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott said that he thought the draw with Shrewsbury yesterday at Don Valley was a fair result.

Shrewsbury`s Manager, Graham Turner, meanwhile, told ShrewsPlayer that he wasn`t really satisfied with just the one point.

'It wasn`t a particularly good game,` Turner said after he saw his side come back from one down. 'We`ve just lost a little bit of spark and I don`t know the reason why. They were short of confidence and needed a win and we are a bit short of confidence and needed to put things right so the result was a poor game.

'We had opportunities to break out and put people in and on the ball but we failed to do it. It was a hard, difficult game.

'There was another goal that`s gone in against us. We`ve worked on defending this week and talked about keeping a clean sheet and what is it, thirty yards into the top corner? Not a lot you can do about that although we lost possession cheaply on the half-way line. We might have had a penalty in the last few seconds. The players are saying it was a stonewall penalty when the goalkeeper brought Marvin (Morgan) down after he`d gone round him.

'Overall you`ve got to be reasonably satisfied with a point.`

What do you think - penalty or not? Who were the better team?
