'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott 'back four did well on Saturday'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott thought his side should have won the game on Saturday due to their first half performance.

'It was a bit of a boost the way we played in the first half,' Scott told MillersPlayer, 'but we've got to take that into the next game now.'

Speaking about the defence, that he has been so critical of in the last few weeks, Scott said, 'It's still early days trying to rectify the defensive problems we've had but they responded well from the goals we conceded.

'For one reason and another, we haven't really had a settled back four, with injuries and international duties and people being out of form and that's been difficult for everybody. But we're working hard at it and we're getting there. The back four put in a good performance on Saturday.'
