'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Northampton Town

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott said he was disappointed yesterday that his side didn't get all three points at Sixfields.

Meanwhile, Cobblers boss, Gary Johnson told Cobblers Player, 'We couldn't have had a worse start. When you've got a Premier League goalkeeper you don't expect him to make the sort of mistakes he made there. He threw the ball out which cost us the goal and we were one-nil down within a minute.

'But to be fair, the crowd got behind us and we started playing and got our goal after twenty-odd minutes which was deserved.

'We had some chances in the first half and then in the second half I don't think either team could afford to lose. Rotherham play a very direct game and hook it on into the channels which is very effective. We had a couple of chances in the second half and they did too so, all in all, it was probably a fair result.'
