Rotherham United Community Director, Brian Chapple may have stepped down from the post but says he will always be a Miller.

Speaking to The Advertiser after making his decision, Brian, who is moving aside due to ill health, said, 'The club have been fantastic to me. Everyone has been so supportive, but the way things are going with everything moving so quickly that it needs someone full-time and the fact is I`m sixty-three now and I have been poorly. If I`m not careful I could make myself poorly again and I can`t take that risk.`

Brian, who had a stroke in May, said that he wants someone to have the job who will have the energy and time it deserves, saying, 'Every job I do I give one hundred per cent to and it`s not fair to myself, or the club, to carry on.

'I`ve been helping Rotherham United for thirty years and I will continue to help them - I will always be a Miller.`
