Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott explained today why midfielder, Danny Harrison was made captain instead of Alex Revell who has recently stood in for injured skipper, Ryan Cresswell.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Scott said, 'It was a bit of superstition.

'Rev`s hasn`t won a game where he`s been captain! I didn`t want him to think 'here we go again` so I gave it to Danny.

'Strange things can play with your mind!

'Danny`s a good pro and a good leader.`

Harrison is the Millers fifth captain this season and Scott said, 'Just because you`ve got the armband on doesn`t make you approach the game any differently. I could have given it to anyone today.`

Have to say when there was a bit of handbags in the game today, the only one not 'having a word with the ref' I noticed was Harrison. When, surely he should have been the only one having a word with the ref! Foster was making his thoughts known though!
