RUFC - Defender to stay until January

Join The Vital Debate

Rotherham United have confirmed today that Jon Harley is staying with the Millers until January.

Originally here for a month, Jon joined the Millers from Notts County in October making four appearances so far.

Speaking after the win over Aldershot this afternoon, Manager, Andy Scott said, 'We`ve agreed things with Jon and Notts County as well and it will take us through to January which I`m very pleased about.

'We`re still waiting to find out about the FA Cup availability but I`m so pleased to have Jon because he`s an excellent pro.

'He plays with a calmness and an assure manner that flows through the side. He`s helping everyone out in front of him as well as at the back so I was pleased we were able to keep him.`
