'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition - Aldershot

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott was probably relieved to get a win on Saturday after going ten games without one.
After the game he said, 'we got the job done. Yes we want to play better but it was all about the three points today.`

Meanwhile, Aldershot boss, Dean Holdsworth, who came to Don Valley on the back of three wins, wasn`t too happy with his players.

Speaking to Premium Shots after the two-nil defeat, which also saw them go down to ten-men when goalkeeper, Ross Worner saw red for a challenge on Alex Revell, Holdsworth said, 'The players know I was disappointed.

'You know when you come to Rotherham you are going to get a tough game, but we lost too many personal battles in the first half. Rotherham showed their strengths but I think we could have dealt with both their goals better.

'We had chances but I have to be critical because we didn`t work the 'keeper, although I thought we gave everything in the second half.

'I`m disappointed. We`ve been beaten and rightly so but we`ll move on and get back to basics again.`
